We care about our cause. Antibiotic resistance is one of the top three largest threats against humanity. 1928 Diagnostics combines software technology and genomics to analyze DNA from infectious bacteria and help hospitals to track down antibiotic resistant bacteria and enable the right treatment to the patient.
You will join a diverse development team, creating a custom made processing platform for analyzing DNA data and a web application. The challenge is to present complex and dynamic data with a focus on quality and user-friendliness. Everything is running in a Kubernetes cluster which is scaling on the computational needs. We primarily work with React.js, Typescript, HTML, CSS/LESS, Django, Python, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL and other things that we find exciting. We want to continuously challenge ourselves and keep learning new things.
We are looking for a web developer with a focus on front-end development. For the role you should be passionate about programming and delivering a user-experience that supports the customer. You have an interest in design and UX, and like to get external input from both users and other team members. You will be involved in the whole development process, from ideation to production release. You are close to the product every day and your thoughts and ideas matter, all the way to the end-user.

With our relatively streamlined team we are working head-to-head in a global competitive environment. Today 17 people and growing, with competences within software development, bioinformatics, molecular biology, QA/RA, sales, marketing and finance. The team is led by two of the founders, Kristina Lagerstedt and Susanne Staaf, that together have a long experience within life science research and development.
